Roller Coaster Afterlife

There have always been different beliefs on what happens when you die... I've always wondered myself, do people really go to Heaven or Hell, or are they reincarnated as someone or something else?? I really have NO idea but apparently my subconsciousness believes you're escorted to a place similar to Heaven or Hell on a roller coaster ride. (badass)

I'm not quite sure where I was or when, everything in my dream was so different than anything I know in my waking world... This included the way the buildings were made, the type of people around, the way people spoke and how life and death came together. I guess you could call me some sort of grim reaper since that is exactly what I was playing the part of in last night's dream.

Now that I think about it, I feel the world I was in was some sort of half way world between Earth and the afterlife. It's not like anyone was "dead" but they were and it was my job to direct them to the correct roller coaster. Those who did well in their lives who didn't go on nutty rampages or kill anyone went one way, while the "mistakes" went the other... That's right, we called the bad people "mistakes".

I would direct both types of people to their respected coasters by grabbing a group of them and loading them onto the ride. I would make sure everyone was buckled in and would use some sort of magic to start the ride. Of course, I would be on the ride myself and we would head off into a beautiful light moving up, down and side to side (the ride itself was actually incredibly fun). Once we reached the end of the "tunnel" I would direct those on the ride out and disappear back to the half way world. This routine was the same for both Heaven and Hell.

My job however, did not end there... I was in charge of looking after all of those still wandering around the half way world to make sure they didn't get into any sort of trouble. At one point, I remember picking an old man up off the floor who had fallen down some stairs. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes, completely oblivious what was going on around him. I placed him in some sort of carrier that looked incredibly similar to the harness in Silence of the Lambs - you know, the one Hannibal Lector is strapped into while they move him to another prison. I rolled the old man into a large room and sat him down on a over sized chair and told him not to worry, everything would be alright in about two hours (that's when he got to ride to Heaven). He continued to cry but gave me a large hug and whispered "thank you" into my ear... Then I woke up. Bleh.
